Project 1 is a group and individual task where we were required to form a group of 8. My group members are Ong Huey Fen, Choong Lai Mun, Soo Xiao Wen, Chan Boon Haw, Kelvin Ng, Low Jia Cheng and Tan Zi Jian. For this project, we were to select an ongoing construction site which visibly covers most of the subject topics covered in the syllabus and document all the visuals, sketches and manual drawings inclusive of the detailing and documentation we got from the construction site into an A3 bound report. Furthermore, our selected sites should be medium rise or low rise buildings such as bungalow, terrace houses or maximum 4-storey building. The site we chose for this project is terrace houses in one of the site in Bukit Beruntung. This project allows us to identify different types of building elements and its construction process, details and materials from the ongoing construction site and to enhance our understanding on principles of construction, sequence of construction activities, importance of basic detailing, construction joints and material application through real life projects. 

In order to complete this project, my group members and I started off with our very first discussion. We discussed on the ongoing construction site we visit and we chose one of the construction site in Bukit Beruntung. Before going to the site, we distribute tasks to each members in our group so that it will be easy for us to take down information during the site visit.

Through this project, I am able to produce a complete documentation for the task given to me before site visit and I have a better understanding on current construction technology on local construction sites after completing the project. Furthermore, I am able to explain the construction elements and its components found on site.
